Watch the Turkish Air Force shoot down in flames the Christadelphian interpretation of Ezekiel chapters 38 & 39

Gog bomber shot down by Togarmah missile
- Yet another Christadelphian prophecy fail!
By John DeVere

For the past one hundred and seventy years Christadelphians have been predicting that in the last days Israel will be invaded by Gog, who they claim is Russia and other nations including Togarmah, who they claim is Turkey. They have said that this event will be followed by the return of Christ to rescue the Israelis. They quote Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 as a prophecy that they think predicts this happening.

Rather bizarrely they have recently been claiming that Russia's bombing campaign against the Islamic State could be the beginning of the Gogian invasion of the Middle East and Israel.

The events of 24 November 2015 show how wrong they are in making these claims. Two Turkish F16 jets fired missiles at two Russian SU24 bombers that flew close to the Turkish border bringing one of them down in flames. One of the Russian crew was shot dead in the air as he descended by parachute by Turkish supported Syrian rebel troops on the ground in Syria. The other was captured alive.

Today (25 November 2015) a rescue mission by Russian special forces resulted in the death of at least one more Russian and the destruction of one of their helicopters.

It appears that the fantasy Christadelphian "Northern Confederacy" has not got off to a good start. Firstly the Russians are bombing Syria, not Israel and secondly Togarmah and Gog appear to be on the brink of war with each other!

At Ex-Christadelphians we have confidently predicted from the start of the Russian involvement in Syria that this has nothing to do with Christadelphian interpretation of Bible prophecy in Ezekiel, Daniel, Zechariah or anywhere else in the Bible.

Watch future developments and see that we are right. The latest Christadelphian excitement about events in the Middle East will turn out to be yet another prophecy fail for them.

  1. Ah yeh, but CD's are saying that Gog will invade Togarmah first, then the forces of Gog will smash their way to Israel, so wait and see...

  2. Actually Christadelphians HAVE predicted the invasion of Turkey. this is just the start of what is to come. For example, this video was posted in October. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jf3WLEJfrxQ

    1. Thanks for that Anon, poor deluded Jonathan Bowen has got it all worked out. In fact it is hardy worth him booking a ticket to come over for next year's Swanwick Bible school to exhort the faithful remnant, the Magical Kingdom should be with us by then, given that this is all happening "very soon", whatever that means, he would do better to book his ticket to Israel and get the fires ready for the resumption of animal sacrifices that he is so sure of. What a load of crap, my former recording brother and his cronies do not even know how to make a sandwich for themselves never mind how to kill and butcher an animal! will they still be in their western business suits with silly briefcases and leather Bible covers when all this stuff takes place? Will it be run from a shed in Rugby like this video channel is? If there is indeed a God, why oh why did he pick this lot to be his saints?

    2. Ezekiel 38:6 says that Togarmah will be part of the Gogian confederacy. It does NOT say that Turkey will be invaded by Gog. That is just Christadelphian invention because world events are working out completely differently to their predictions.

When all of this blows over, which it soon will, Christadelphians will change their minds and say that Ezekiel 38/39 is still to be fulfilled in the future and that the return of Christ has been delayed a bit longer.

This will go on for many years until the last Christadelphian either deconverts to be an Ex-Christadelphian, or they die out.

    4. Ezekiel 38King James Version (KJV)

38 And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,

3 And say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:

4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:

5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:

6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.

    1. Well if there are enough Christadelphians who have published enough separate theories on what will happen, then they increase their chances of one of them being right. As soon as one of them is right, everyone forgets the 99 others who were wrong and they praise the correct guesser as though they had the gift of prophecy...

  5. "The foreign minister spent a fraught hour on the phone to his Turkish counterpart today, but his conclusion was critical: "We do not intend to go to war with Turkey," Sergei Lavrov assured the world."
