Editor's Note: With the current Russian involvement in the Syrian conflict causing the Christadelphians to resurrect their "Russia is Gog" claim, I thought it appropriate to republish this article from our archives.

Perhaps no other book in the Bible has stirred the imaginations of Evangelical and Millennial Christians more than has the Book of Ezekiel.  And Perhaps no other passages in the Book of Ezekiel have caused such a row as have his powerful diatribes against “Gog” and “Magog.”

Life on Earth began 4.1 billion years ago - 300 million years earlier than scientists previously thought

Carbon in 4.1 billion
year old zircon.
UCLA geochemists have found evidence that life likely existed on Earth at least 4.1 billion years ago -- 300 million years earlier than previous research suggested. The discovery indicates that life may have begun shortly after the planet formed 4.54 billion years ago. The research is published today in the online early edition of the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Click here to read the rest of this article.

The flawed methodology behind Christadelphian interpretation of Bible Prophecy

By Steve Pryde

Bible Prophecy was always at the forefront of the Christadelphian message while I was growing up. It was often cited in public lectures, and youth group talks, as one of the reasons we could be confident that the Bible was the inspired word of God, and therefore that we could trust everything it said to be accurate. But is it as reliable as they say? Let's find out. Click here to read the rest of this article.

The Ken-Cat
By Ken Gilmore
Ken is a Christadelphian, NOT an Ex-Christadelphian. He does not condone or support the Atheist position of this website. Nevertheless we hold is work in the highest regard.
Despite the fact that evolution has not been seriously doubted by mainstream biologists for over a century, and the considerable amount of high-quality information on the subject that is freely available, special creationists in our community still falsely claim that evolution is false...... Here is a short refutation of the most common myths, ranging from evolution is 'only a theory' to evolution is an 'atheist conspiracy. New fossil teeth discovery place modern humans in Asia 80,000 years ago - 74,000 years before Adam!

By Paul Rincorn

Scientists working in Daoxian, south China, have discovered teeth belonging to modern humans that date to at least 80,000 years ago. This is 20,000 years earlier than the widely accepted "Out of Africa" migration that led to the successful peopling of the globe by our species. Click here to read the rest of this article.

A question from a reader: "What if you're wrong?"

This just in from a reader:
"Dear Ex-Christadelphians. What if you're wrong? That question was put to Richard Dawkins at a lecture which had that particular question videoed and placed on YouTube.  He never answered the question, he just posed another question of "what if any of us are wrong ?"

The true answer is this: If your assertions about the God, the bible and Christ are wrong, then you have thrown away the opportunity to receive life eternal for yourself. But it gets worse .... If you are wrong and you persuade others from following the way that gives them eternal life, then what have you done ? You have been instrumental in removing their opportunity for life.  In most judicial systems in the world, for one person to be instrumental in removing another person's opportunity for life,  it is classed as either manslaughter or.... if done with pre-meditation ... it may well even be classed as murder."
