How to make a clickable link in a comment on this website. Also how to put text in italics.

To create a clickable link to a web page in a comment on this website, copy past this:

into the comment; remove the "X" and in its place copy past the url of the web page that you want to link to. The "Click here" text will become a clickable link. For example a link to our home page pasted in a comment would look like this: Click here. This won't work here because it is not in a comment. But put it in a comment at the end of an article and it will become live. It will look like this after you publish the comment: Click here

To put a section of text in italics, use this code and put your text in place of the "X"

X
